As a current Master of Arts student in Performance Practice as Research at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, I am conducting work at the intersections of media theory, theatre and performance studies, and cognitive science. I was a proud recipient of an Embassy Postgraduate Scholarship upon entry. More information regarding my research, dissertation, and forthcoming public presentations of my practice as research will be available in the coming weeks as my discipline develops.
I received my Bachelor of Arts (Honours) (Western Scholars) in English Language and Literature and Theatre/Performance Studies at Western University, having graduated with two Gold Medals for Highest Academic Achievement in both Honours majors. While a student at Western, I was the recipient of over 10 scholarships and awards for academic and extracurricular achievement, including the Mackie Cryderman Award for Excellence in Creative Writing and Theatre Studies, William Ferguson Tamblyn Scholarship, Rod McQueen Scholarship in English, Rogers Family Award in Arts, Kay MacIver Memorial Award, and the Timothy Findley Memorial Scholarship.
Over the last few years, I have taught a variety of classes and workshops related to my most prominent artistic disciplines.
As Student Writer-in-Residence at Western University, I had the opportunity to lecture in a number of creative writing classes (to students in all years of study) on the subject of dramatic writing. I also acted as a mentor for many students pursuing creative text-based projects. I have also worked as a featured Keynote speaker for several arts-based groups and events, including London Open Mic Poetry, WordsFest London, Poetry London, and The Coterie. During this time, I also had the privilege of presenting my work alongside multi award-winning author of The Marrow Thieves, Cherie Dimaline, and interviewing Governor's General award-winning novelist Nino Ricci at the inaugural Alice Munro Chair in Creativity lecture series.

My work as a creative mentor also includes experience in event planning and volunteer coordinating, editing, the managing of creative and academic publications, and acting as a dramaturge for many a theatre project. I also have experience teaching Drama, Comic Book Creation, and Songwriting to children ages 7-14, as well as working as an Educational Tour Leader with students aged 12 to 18.
