ABOUT
Intermissions: Works for a new world is a grassroots pandemic-era born-digital media gallery curated and published in the summer of 2020 by 90+ international out-of-work visual and performance artists, curated by Camille Intson of Pantheon Projects. Its call for submissions solicited multidisciplinary creative responses to the following prompt: "If you could send anything in time to a post-pandemic world, what would it be?" At first circulated as a local call for submissions to artist friends in the Greater Toronto and Hamilton areas, the project gained traction online when picked up by broader websites and social media pages advertising open calls for creatives. The resulting submissions, from musical performances to poetry, photographs to paintings, short films to short essays, were published online at this address from June 2020 to July 2025.
